On March 28th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced travel restrictions by the Cambodian government for the purpose of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus(Covid-19).
・Here's an overview of the announcement:The restriction will be introduced from 23:59 on March 30th.
・Tourist visa, e-visa, and avatar visa (visa available at the airport upon arrival) will be suspended for one month.
・Those who wish to travel to Cambodia must obtain a visa in advance at overseas Cambodian embassies and consulates.
・You must present a health certificate certifying that you are not infected with the new coronavirus(Covid-19) issued by the health authorities within 72 hours of your trip to Cambodia.
・You have to present a certificate of insurance with an insurance amount of more than US米ドル50,000.
・You will be subject to medical examinations and screening when you enter the country.It will also be subject to mandatory quarantine, quarantine or other measures directed by the Ministry of Health to prevent and contain viruses.
The current travel restrictions are temporary and will be reviewed periodically in light of the spread of the new coronavirus infection worldwide.
