The parting walls of the steel frame structure that we have constructed should meet specifications of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism certification, such as double layered of reinforced gypsum boards (with nets). However, gypsum boards with different types and thicknesses were used, and do not meet the specifications specified in the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism certification.
How was the difference of fire-resistant structures of parting walls found?
In the process of all-building investigation, when we investigated with owner on February 25, 2019, the difference of parting wall specification with construction design documents was found.
We checked the facts and the nonconformity of specification specified by Building Standards Act was confirmed.
