Leopalace21 Corporation (Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Bunya Miyao; "the Company") announced on September 20, 2023 that it agreed to work with Future-oriented Business Partnership Promotion Organization to join its declaration of Supplier Partnership Promotion Initiative. The Company supports the purpose of the Future-oriented Business Partnership Promotion Organization whose members include the Chairman of Japan Business Federation, the Chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the President of the Japanese Trade Union Confederation, and the ministers concerned, such as Cabinet Office, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism,

(n.b. There is only Japanese logo mark to represent the activity.)

Based on its corporate philosophy of Creating New Value, the Company promotes inter-company collaboration to meet the expectations of all stakeholders and to create a sustainable society in line with the needs of the times. The Company established CSR Procurement Guidelines and operating it to strive to practice fair and sustainable procurement.

■Outline of Partnership Building Promotion Initiative

It is a declaration of the company commitment to build new partnerships by promoting collaboration, common prosperity with its supply chain partners and value-creating businesses. The company declares, in the name of its representative, common prosperity of all businesses in the supply chain and new cooperation beyond size and affiliation in compliance with desirable business practices between the purchasers and suppliers, which is defined as the promotion standards based on the Act on the Promotion of Subcontracting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. It is posted on the portal site operated by the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Organizations to visualize the efforts of the companies.

The Company will strive to build better relationships with the business partners and create new value throughout the supply chain by continuously working on inter-company collaboration and fair transactions in line with the commitment to support partnership building promotion initiative.

This initiative is related with the four goals in the SDGs.
