Leopalace Green Electricity Starts with Virtually Zero CO₂ Emissions

Leopalace21 Corporation (headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Bunya Miyao; “the Company”) announced that Leopalace Green Energy started to supply Leopalace Green Electricity (hereinafter “LG Electricity”) in June 2024 in the project worked between the Company and Astomos Group.
LG Electricity offsets CO2 emissions using non-fossil certificates and joined the service of Leopalace Green Energy following the supply of Leopalace Green LP Gas (hereinafter “LG LP Gas) in January 2023.
With the supply of LG LP gas and LG electricity, the Company materializes to manage rental housing with virtually zero CO2 emissions.

LG Electricity supplied by Astomos Energy Corporation is now available for Monthly Contracts and Utility Inclusive Plans*¹. LG Electricity is a virtually renewable energy source with virtually zero CO2 emissions combined with non-fossil certificates.*²
The Company plans to provide LG Electricity to 75,000 households by March 2025. When this is achieved, CO2 emissions reduction is expected approximately 81,993 t-CO2 per year.
*¹The Company informs the tenants in Long-term contracts when the service is available.
*²Calculation is made with 2,496.0 kWh per unit per year and CO2 emissions coefficient of 0.000438 t-CO2
